During the 18th MAISK conference in the city of Odessa, Ukraine, carried from 4th to 7th of June, INTRON PLUS has presented the paper "Monitoring of technical condition of mine hoisting ropes". The MAISK (International Association on Steel Ropes Researches) is based in the city of Odessa and gather wire rope specialists to share theoretical and practical knowledge on steel wire ropes. The first conference has been carried in 1963.

Being a member of the OIPEEC, INTRON PLUS presented the paper "Specific aspects of inspection of large diameter steel ropes" during the conference in Hague, the Netherlands. The conference gathered 153 participants, specialists in steel ropes and syntethic ropes, from many countries.

In January 2019 rope tester INTROS has successfully passed tests at accredited laboratory LA.T.I.F. and has been certified in accordance with EN 12927-8 "Safety requirements for cableway installations designed to carry persons - Ropes - Part 8: Magnetic rope testing (MRT)".

118 cables with parallel strands installed at a cabled-stayed Russky bridge have been non-destructively inspected by INTRON PLUS by means of in-house equipment INTROS-E. A cable-stayed bridge in Vladivostok connects the Russky Island and the the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula across the Eastern Bosphorus strait. Russky bridge is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world with a central span of 1,104 m.
